The separation forces at the toe end and instep exceed
the minimum requirements of 800N and 500N respectively. |

Impact Resistance
Test
The impact resistance of the steel toe cap is tested
by a steel striker of mass 20kg±0.4kg adapted
to fall freely on vertical guides from a predetermined
height of 1000mm to give the required impact energy
of 200J±4J. |

Flexing Resistance
of Outsole Test
The sole unit withstands more than the standard requirement
of 30,000 cycles at a constant value between 125 cycles/min.
and 150 cycles/min. with a bent angle of 90. |
